About Sammy Bell

With a career history spanning over 16 years within the education sector as well as experience successfully running two businesses, I am a self-motivated individual. Demonstrating my best skills in roles where I can use my initiative to help others, I remain focused under pressure while managing multiple tasks. I enjoy continual learning and development to stay up to date with current industry standards. My experience across many educational environments including university, has equipped me with a wide range of skills and abilities, including: • Exposure across a range of school environments including providing solutions to complex student issues • Thorough understanding of the appropriate standards associated with supporting students, teaching staff and parents / guardians • Ability to undertake investigations, analysis and innovative problem-solving activities as and when required • Capacity to synchronise a solutions-focused, student-focused and time-focused approach I am currently furthering my education, undertaking a BA in Psychology. This will broaden my knowledge and understanding of the issues students face in regards to their mental health. I am expanding my experience as a teacher and tutor in a new direction that allows me to focus further on the individual, assisting them in reaching their goals through focusing on their health and well being as well as their practical/educational abilities. As a teacher, I have focused largely on the creative arts, being a Drama teacher and production manager for many years. My work within the arts has allowed me to develop an innovative and creative approach to problem-solving and collaboration. I am highly competent at managing teams of colleagues and motivating groups of students/youth towards a shared vision. I am flexible and solution-focused, adapting to situational circumstances as required and have, throughout my career, successfully managed my time and resources across multiple projects.
