About Sampo Viding

I am specialised in restructuring & insolvency assignments as well as tax and corporate law. Over recent years, my focus has been on various restructuring cases, encompassing restructuring proceedings, business restructurings and related strategic planning. Additionally, I have a keen interest in corporate governance, incentives, and AI. With over a decade of experience, I have provided legal, restructuring, tax, and strategy assistance to both domestic and multinational corporations across diverse industries such as software, professional services, retail, engineering, gaming, and chemicals. In addition to my law degree from the University of Turku in 2013, I have completed a Master of Science in Business Administration from Turku School of Economics in 2009 specialising in company and tax law, corporate governance, and financing. While pursuing my Doctor of Laws studies at the University of Turku, I have also served as a part time project researcher. Although there has been a break in my doctoral studies, I intend to resume them in the near future. I am a member of the Finnish Bar Association, the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Finland & Young IFA Finland, Finnish Insolvency Law Association, and the Finnish Tax Advisers.
