About Samridhi Sood

I’m a self-motivated and passionate agriculture professional with hands-on experience in field operations, stakeholder coordination, and sustainable farming practices. Currently working as a Field Operations Officer under Project PRANA (Promoting Regenerative and No-burn Agriculture), supported by The Nature Conservancy (TNC) in Punjab, I lead on-ground implementation, provide technical and operational support, and build strong relationships with local government bodies, NGOs, and private partners. Previously, I served as an Agri entrepreneurship Mentor with Syngenta Foundation India, where I conducted farmer training programs, promoted Direct Seeded Rice (DSR), and led demonstrations on crop residue management and sustainable agriculture machinery. My foundation in agriculture is strengthened by Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE), during which I trained in Subhash Palekar’s Natural Farming (ZBNF) and directly addressed the real-world challenges of Indian farmers. I’m committed to creating impact at the grassroots level and contributing meaningfully to India’s agricultural transformation.
