A journalist and editor with almost nine years of experience leading editorial teams and shaping business media coverage across Ethiopia. Previously held top editorial roles as Editor-in-Chief at The Reporter, Ethiopian Business Review Magazine and Addis Fortune newspaper. Also worked as Co-Producer at EBS TV. Began my career a decade ago as a data collector conducting quantitative research and data analysis. Earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Addis Ababa University in 2014 and currently pursuing a Master's in International Relations and Diplomacy. Fluent in English and native Amharic speaker. Known for strong communication, leadership and relationship building skills developed over a decade in journalism, research and consultancy works. Committed to developing new talent and mentoring colleagues. Passionate about using evidence-based storytelling to illuminate important economic and social issues across Ethiopia.
