About Samson Ling

Business transformation is my passion. In over 25 years, I have been able to deploy my expertise in industries spanning chemical, specialty reinforcement, automotive parts manufacturing, and most recently, medical device. My primary objective is long-term sustainable growth, focusing on profitable growth, and fostering a culture of excellence through collaboration. Since 2006, I’ve been President & CEO at Clarion Medical Technologies Inc, a premium medical products supplier. Under my leadership, some of our accomplishments include-Reduced employee turnover to <5%-Increased revenue per employee by 100%-Doubled recurring revenue with multi-years contracts-Recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneurs-Won the top ten Private Business Growth Award sponsored by Grant Thornton and Canadian Chamber of Commerce-United Way – Community Builder Award, Workplace Campaign of the Year Award and Corporate Volunteerism Partner AwardBeing passionate about giving back to our community and sharing my knowledge, I have been involved in various charitable and community-based organizations, from being a volunteer to sitting on Boards. With a keen interest in mentoring other executives, I regularly take part in CEO forums, panel discussions and keynote speaker opportunities. My love of learning led me to a PhD in Chemistry from The University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University.
