About Samson Shulman

I am an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, Podcaster, Author and Coach to Artists. I am a community builder at heart with a professional career spanning over 12 years within the music and entertainment industry. I have spent my career enhancing stand out brands through strategic partnerships and business development. By fostering strong relationships, I have been able to impact communities across diverse industries reaching far outside the entertainment space. Launched the podcast platform, Connection Is Magic in 2020, to bring value to professionals through inspirational stories and thoughtful conversations. By communicating the experiences of industry leaders, athletes, and artists, we were able to create a community built on learning and growing. Leveraging the power of community, we were able to quickly expand brand awareness and increase the audience base at a rapid pace. I sourced and connected with interesting and value-added guests to continuously deliver new perspectives to our listeners. Additionally, I founded and ran 5AM Collective, a full-service artist development and talent management firm to uncover opportunities to enhance the brands of established and rising artists. Through strong partnerships and industry connections, I was able to establish teams to identify innovative and creative strategies for each project. My previous experience includes working with celebrity and musical guests on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and expanding the brands of A-list artists for Universal Music Group. Through this experience, I worked with Grammy-winning recording artists and developed strong partnerships with booking agencies, music managers, record producers, songwriters, recording studios, publishing companies, record labels, entertainment law firms to advance the goals of each client. Personally, I am committed to community development and improvement. I serve as a volunteer for several nonprofits in the area. I am focused on leveraging my experience, connections, and insights to enhance the mission of values-based organizations.
