Also skilled in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis software specializing in STAR CCM+ simulations for heat transfer (conduction), heat conversion (convection), velocity of fluids (VOF), pressure drop/rise and temperature distributions in engineering and nuclear materials. These simulations are used to perform design and safety analysis according to international guidelines and regulatory requirements. Also skilled in Mechanical Design, Nuclear and Structural Engineering and can also execute 3D Design Modelling using a variety of different CAD software packages like Micro-station, SigmaNest, AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Inventor, Bentley Inroads, SolidWorks and Solid Edge. I have worked at Hatch Engineering for 5 years (as a Mechanical Designer), Department of Public Works for 3 years (Mechanical Works Manager), Actom for 1 year (as a Mechanical Designer), Lulatec for 1 year (as a Mechanical Designer), Transnet for 1 year (as an Engineering Rail Detailer) and currently been at Necsa for 7 years 3 months (as a Mechanical Design Engineer and Acting Project Manager). I enjoy solving technical problems, particularly when the solution has a physical realization.
