About Samuel Addo

I am an alum of SUNY polytechnic institute and Hvcc where I studied Mechanical Engineering Technology. My studies of manufacturing, designing, coding, and solving have drawn me to appreciate engineering as a whole. I have also been credited as a co-author on a published journal "Biochemical and Bionhvsical Research Communications" for a research project conducted at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This study was on the kinetic stability of various bean proteins and breaking them down to find their half lives. In this lab setting we measured beam samples and different solutions, set-up an operated a s-trap machine and took pictures of the half lives left in the gel samples left behind. This research made me appreciate all of the biochemistry field as well as the reward of doing research. While I am currently working in the restaurant business for the last few years, I enjoy learning the business side to working in the service field. As a server at Manory’s restaurant and a cook/server at Famous lunch both in Troy, NY, I have experienced unsought reality that long days and double shift are necessary for business to be able to provide for the customer and the restaurant itself.
