About Samuel Ashin

I am currently a summer associate at Sachse Construction in Detroit. I am on the preconstruction team helping to secure new jobs, preparing feasibility reports, completing takeoffs, and working on bids among many other duties. I am adding to my knowledge in Bluebeam, On-screen, Microsoft office, and other proprietary software. Last summer I was a summer intern at Colasanti Construction Services. Currently, I worked in the estimating department and learned software such as On-Screen, Procure, and Bluebeam and reviewing projects and interacting with subs and managers. I was an assistant project manager at Loopy Construction in Metro Detroit until they closed in January. I oversaw projects from inception to completion. I arranged and manage trades, estimate and source materials, and kept the projects running smoothly and on time. Previously I was an assistant project manager at Tammy Designs, an interior designer based in Metro Detroit. I estimated projects, helped prepare bids and see projects from the design phase through the project completion. I interned this past summer at Avis management, a company that owns and operates investment properties and self-storage facilities. I helped with cost analysis of different projects, maintenance of their properties and office work.
