About Samuel Astill

In the past 5 years of working with customers, partners and even man’s furry best friend (dogs!), I have discovered a compelling tool for my definition of success. Beneath their careers, achievements, and struggles lies a raw, genuine soul in everyone. As such I have learned that practicing EMPATHY daily in both my professional and personal life has worked wonders to setting my foundation for a meaningful outcome. Every week, I talk to hundreds of customers and partners. Life is already full of anxieties and stress, so I strive hard to foster a positive interaction with my customers. I have 4 years of customer and stakeholder management experience, specializing in life insurance financial services and online payments. With the goal to meet customers heightened expectations for service and speed, over the past 2 years I have managed and maintained a 100% volume increase in customer management cases from when COVID-19 started in January 2020, whilst consistently maintaining highest performer within my team for case volume management. I am currently exploring fraud, risk and compliance within the FinTech industry.
