About Samuel Barnes

Sam was born in Wilson, North Carolina and began his career in commercial real estate in 2002 after graduating from N.C. State University with a degree in Business Management. Upon graduation he was hired by the Raleigh office of Cushman and Wakefield, and over the next 8 years distinguished himself by concentrating his work efforts within the midsized, and smaller markets of eastern North Carolina. During his tenure with Cushman and Wakefield, he was promoted to the position of Vice President and expanded his client base to include numerous national, regional, and local business groups with a presence throughout North Carolina. After 8 years in Raleigh, Sam and his family moved to Beaufort, N.C. where he worked with York Properties as Regional Director of Operations. During his time with York, Sam was responsible for complete management of business operations, employees, and oversight of the company’s coastal property ownership, and brokerage efforts. In 2014, Sam founded Wilson Creek Realty. The company’s focus is to ensure that our clients have the best, most knowledgeable and accurate, market information when exploring commercial real estate options for their business and/or investment needs throughout eastern North Carolina. Building off of his extensive background, but wanting to remain small and value driven for his clients, Sam provides his clients with personal one on one attention, specific market analysis, financial modeling, customized marketing options, and attention to detail all in an effort to ensure that their business goals and objectives are met when considering commercial real estate options for their business or personal needs.
