My career is marked by advocating for organizations and clients in a wide range of legal matters in multicultural settings. As legal counsel, I have a deep knowledge of contracts, litigation and arbitration, transactions, banking/finance, among others. The recent MBA education not only fortifies my solid legal expertise with business acumen, ensuring a holistic approach to all corporate legal matters, but also serves as a testament to my preference for comprehensive solutions and bridge-building. This perspective, I believe, is vital since a narrow legal view can sometimes fall short of addressing complex issues fully. Living and working overseas, speaking multiple languages, and serving on boards of several community organizations while assisting companies with their operations abroad has allowed me to utilize my passion to create and build, while making an impact. As a leader, I employ a collaborative approach, empowering and engaging junior attorneys, training and creating cultures of excellence. I develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, clients, and partners to achieve favorable results. Established corporate structures for Swiss companies operating in China and negotiating contracts. Chief Representative of the first Swiss law firm in China's Beijing office, including talent acquisition and expanding service areas. Directed litigation and arbitration efforts in China, Switzerland, and other countries. Served as the President of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Beijing for 4 consecutive terms.
