About Samuel Bennett

Growing up in the Midwest, you learn a lot about how to have good manners. If someone lets you merge into your lane, you wave and thank them. If someone bumps into you, you say "Ope, excuse me." If a client asks you for a request you aren't 100% sure you can meet the expectations of, you smile, say "no problem," and you figure out a solution. The mindset I learned as a boy, of keeping good manners, has allowed me to go above and beyond what is asked of me in the workplace, because good hospitality at work, is just as important as washing someone's Tupperware before returning it. Leading with "yes" has allowed me to maximize revenue in my background of sales, exceed the expectations of clients with my background in customer service, and hire and retain talent with my background of recruiting. Challenging myself to say "yes" hasn't just given me the chance to reach career milestones, but it has allowed me new opportunities such as relocating across the country to Seattle, learning new skills both in and out of the workplace, and just generally stepping outside of my comfort zone.
