About Samuel Bolton
I graduated from CQ University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Registered Nursing. In 2019 I completed my graduate year at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. From 2020 to 2022 I was employed in the Emergency Department as a RN within the Royal Adelaide Hospital. This experience helped develop my clinical assessment skills in relation to a variety of patient presentations. In March 2022 I decided to take a break from ED and I decided to try Rural and Remote Nursing, working at Oz Minerals in rural South Australia as an Advisor - Health & Registered Nurse. This role allowed me to grow as an autonomous practitioner, making critical clinical assessments and interventions in a timely manner to obtain the optimal patient outcome. Additionally this role has allowed me to gain experience in emergency response and management including prehospital care. In Jan 2024 I was Promoted to Health Supervisor at BHP Carrapateena after Oz Minerals was taken over in late 2023. This position has allowed me to further develop my skills in relation to project management, team management, leadership.
