Since 1984, I have focused my practice on corporate law, real estate development, residential foreclosures, bankruptcy, litigation, evictions and loan workouts. My previous legal experience was as counsel for the Department of Veterans Affairs from 1976-1984, where I gained experience in governmental and regulatory law, and as an Estate Planning Trust Officer from 1974-1976 with Citizens and Southern National Bank (predecessor to Bank of America). Additionally, I served over 30 years as a U.S. Army Reserve officer on active duty (Vietnam 1970-1971) and in various assignments in the Army Reserve, culminating in command of the 12th JAG Military Law Center, a rapid response,"go-to-war" unit, from 1993-1996.
