Investment Analyst at a boutique Wealth Management firm based out of Glendale, California. The firm specializes in helping high-net worth individuals and small business owners solve complex financial problems and manage their individual goals. We do this by providing comprehensive financial planning services focusing on investments, income tax, estate, business strategy/continuation, cash flow and retirement planning. I work directly under an advisor overseeing 110 high net-worth households, assisting with all aspects of the financial planning process. In particular, I spearhead the portfolio management, investment research and security analysis for the firm. In addition to my portfolio management and investment analysis responsibilities I also lead the operations, trading, administrative, new account onboarding, meeting preparation/follow up and client service tasks for our book of business. Working at a mid-sized RIA requires you to be comfortable wearing many hats. I am intrigued by macro-economics and the capital markets, in particular, how these tools are used to help people achieve their tangible “real life” goals. This is ultimately the only goal in financial planning, and being able to assist clients in pursuing goals they previously only dreamed of is a great personal motivator.
