About Samuel Desimone

My name is Sam Desimone. After receiving a well-rounded undergraduate business education at Bentley University, I stayed at the school to earn a Master's degree in one of my passions, Data Analytics. With an analytically-focused knowledge base and a business background, I have a useful combination of technical and practical business skills that highlight my value as an analyst. At DraftKings, I have been exposed to a number of major channels within both acquisition marketing and CRM marketing, including direct mail, TV, radio, streaming, email, and paid social, amongst others. My primary role in supporting these channels lays in development automated measurement and reporting frameworks, campaign and channel-level insight analyses, long-term optimization, and close interpersonal collaboration with stakeholders. As my career develops, I would like to lean into the data science aspect of analysis by leveraging my strong educational foundation and continued professional growth in machine learning and model building. My background in economics and finance, as well as my experience with the execution of major marketing campaigns has helped me develop practical business skills and knowledge that can inform my coding and model-building capabilities.
