Samuel has 25+ years of work experience as an executive level professional and subject-matter expert within government agencies, institutions of higher education, nonprofits, and as an entrepreneur. Over the course of his work experience, Samuel has developed and applied a wide array of skills in resource development, human services, social justice/criminal justice reform, servant leadership, secondary and higher education, workforce/economic development, quantitative data analysis, civic engagement, civil rights, and project/program management; all to be an advocate for those on the fringes of mainstream society. The aforementioned skills have included Samuel’s facilitation of virtual and in-person trainings, his development of proposals to acquire funding, efficient execution of large complex programs and their iterations, the creation and publishing of various forms of content, service as a change agent in under-resourced communities/populations, and the development and fostering of relationships with new and established partners/stakeholders. Samuel is an experienced freelance writer with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing industry.
