As a Senior Audit Manager at BDO USA, LLP, I lead multiple engagement teams for various clients, including SEC listed entities, private companies, and not-for-profit organizations. I ensure the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services under US GAAS and PCAOB auditing frameworks, and I develop strong working relationships with key business decision makers throughout the audits. I have extensive experience in implementing and improving SOX compliance and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting using the COSO framework, for both first year and mature ICFR entities. I have also performed and reviewed risk assessment and audit planning procedures, and have reviewed 10-K and 10-Q filings. I have comprehensive experience in researching and interpreting auditing and accounting standards. I have a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from The University of Auckland and a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ). I am passionate about providing value-added services to my clients, and I am always eager to learn and grow in my profession.
