About Samuel Hsing

I'm an Engineering leader at CrowdStrike. In other words, I am part of a team that builds defenses against cyberattacks. I am technically proficient and highly focused on achievement. Content distribution and management is a challenging domain that my team has had some recent wins in. As bandwidth capacities expand in our ever-connected world, our team has found ways to balance efficiency and timing tradeoffs for more bandwidth constrained environments. We recently leveraged compression technology and push-based messaging to deliver customer content as quickly as possible. CrowdStrike provides a variety of technical challenges to solve, and empowers engineers to seek out novel solutions. This keeps the work engaging and provides plenty of opportunities for growth. We promote continual improvement and are always open to experimentation with new technologies and processes.
