My Objectives in life are based on my value-system, which is aligned to my competencies and life-goals. Here we go; Value I: LOVE. Clarifying Statement: I warmly embrace family, emotional connectivity and social cohesion with gratitude. This extends to all the people around me, and the people of the world. Value II: RESPECT. Clarifying Statement: I transcend the Golden Rule of doing unto others as I would have them do unto me. I now live (or strive to live) by the Platinum Rule, which is to do unto them according to their preference. This is about humility and empathic listening, seeking to understand before being understood. VALUE TEAMWORK. Clarifying Statement: I work collaboratively with others and positively contribute in a way that will help my team move forward. I associate teamwork with unique capabilities, diversity and creativity. This links well with my passion for drum circles. Always Do Your Best Your best is going to change from moment to moment; Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret. I make a conscious choice to have a well cultivated self-awareness competency, using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) I am able to identify and repel cognitive distortions in me and others through engagement. In terms of the MBTI tool, I am an ENTP at home and an ENTJ at work. My P&J seem to work interchangeably depending on situations.
