I know what it’s like to feel lost. Through my teens and 20's, I struggled continuously with depression, addiction, and broken relationships. But I also found healing—through newfound faith, community, and the right support systems. That journey transformed my life and gave me a deep, unwavering passion to help others who are walking the same difficult path. A defining moment came when I met a young man in urgent care—trapped in a cycle of alcohol abuse, his life shattered after his ex-fiancée took her own life. It was then I realized I had to do more. I had to reach men and women before they found themselves in that level of despair, which I know. This calling led me to create Mind and Matter Health—a practice built on the belief that mental and physical health are equally important and interconnected. The name itself is intentional: a rejection of the outdated idea that overcoming struggles is just a matter of willpower ("mind over matter"). Instead, I provide whole-person care, blending primary care, mental health treatment, and 1-on-1 coaching to support lasting, meaningful transformation.
