About Samuel Senkowicz

I have always loved the outdoors, and have been in scouting since I was a first grader. Now, over a decade later, I'm an Eagle scout, and I've had the good fortune to have spent several years as a camp counselor, which was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I still love the outdoors, which is why I leapt at the chance to help co-create a new engineering program, The Greenway Institute, which focuses on a hands on approach to sustainable engineering. It's still in the early stages, and is growing each semester. As I make the switch from school to my career, I hope to be working to engineer a sustainable future for everyone, and to work with the leaders of tomorrows world to keep the planet clean. While in high school and college, I also took classes through the Community College of Allegheny County, where I have made deans list once, have a 4.0 GPA, and am in both Pi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. I have been involved in numerous robotics projects, with a track record of outstanding success, including a freshmen engineering contest where my team designed a electric vehicle and raced, winning first prize with a final score over 10x better than the previous record holder.
