I am a Master’s-prepared Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of experience spanning FQHCs, free clinics, private practice, hospital and home-based care, long-term care, and academia. Today, I serve as Lead Advanced Practice Provider and Interim Department Chair at Friend Health, where I balance a full patient panel as a practicing NP with leadership responsibilities across multiple departments. My career has always been rooted in two things: delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and building strong communities — both for patients and the people I work alongside. From managing clinic operations and mentoring providers to guiding quality improvement and compliance initiatives, I bring a mix of hands-on clinical insight and executive-level leadership. Recognized as one of Illinois’ “40 Under 40 Nurse Leaders,” I’ve also invested in leadership development through the Chicago Safety Net Learning Collaborative. I am passionate about innovation, workforce engagement, and aligning mission-driven healthcare with operational excellence. I believe the best leaders combine humility with accountability — I’ve grown through collaboration, mentorship, and learning, and I know with the right guidance I can excel in broader executive roles like COO while staying true to my roots as a nurse and community builder.
