Background

About Samuel Terzich

I am currently a student in the Criminology program at the University of Minnesota, Duluth and plan to pursue full-time firefighting after graduation. I have spent the last three summers at Luther Dell Bible Camp, first in the assistant maintenance position, then in the head maintenance position. My job at Luther Dell requires a diversity of skills. Construction, remodeling, lawn care, landscaping, small engine work, vehicle maintenance, and personal management are some, but not all, of the skills I have acquired over my three summer employment. Working at a Bible camp also requires some non-maintenance work. I have to interact with children, ages raging from 4-18, on a daily basis. Also I play guitar, sing, and help lead worship every night of the week. I also worked in the plumbing department at Menards for a year and a half. Unlike many retail jobs, a sales position at Menards requires a significant knowledge of the products. I have greatly increased my knowledge of plumbing and heating through experience and training. At Menards I was expected to approach guests and actively help them find what they were looking for, as well as suggest items they may need to finish whatever project they may have been working on.
