About Samuele Gallingani

In 2017 I obtained my Languages High School Diploma at Liceo Rinaldo Corso. In the same year, my passion for languages combined with my curiosity towards economics and its processes, led me to choose the Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing and Economics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. There, I had the opportunity to develop a global and general knowledge about international trade, marketing practices, national and international rules and law. In the year 2018, I took part in the Erasmus+ project, which allowed me to spend 6 months in Germany at the Catholic University of Eichstätt and Ingolstadt. In that period, I met a lot of different people, establishing important and stimulating academic relationships, which are still going on. In summer 2019, I spent one month in Madagascar visiting Humanitarian Missions and projects across the island, supported and carried on by RTM and CMD. This experience had a big influence on my life, shaped my way of thinking at economics and is still guiding me in making life choices. Driven by my passion for mountains, sports, nature and sustainability, in February 2020 I got an internship at Oberalp Group in Bolzano, an important and established company, leader in the industry of sporting goods. After 3 months, I received an actual job proposal and I decided to accept the challenge, therefore I joined the Customer Service team, responsible for Key and Digital Accounts. Determined in continuing my studies, I applied for the Master's degree in International Management and in the meanwhile I worked as Marketing Analyst for Studio il Granello. Thanks to the Eramus+ program, in 2022 I spent one semester at the Hochschule Bochum, in the northern part of Germany. I am deeply interested in civil economics and I am proudly part of Economy of Francesco, an international movement of young economists, entrepreneurs and change-makers engaged in a process of inclusive dialogue and young global change, moving towards a new economy, respectful of people and environment. Volunteering represents a fundamental part of my life. I am aware of the fact that I received a lot and I strongly believe that in some way, it's important to give back to the others.
