About Samy Elshamy

I am a highly qualified individual with a degree in Arabic, including a Bachelor's degree in Arabic and Islamic studies, a professional diploma in Arabic teaching methods, a special diploma in curriculum and teaching methods, and a Master's degree in Education with a focus on curriculum, technology, and Arabic teaching methods, which was completed in April 2022. My research topic for the Master's degree was "The Effectiveness of Designing Personal E-Learning Environment in Developing the Grammatical Competence of Preparatory Stage Students and Their Attitude towards It." Currently, I am pursuing my PhD studies in Education. I have successfully completed all my coursework with distinction and am awaiting my thesis defense. In addition to my teaching qualifications, I am working towards the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) to further enhance my leadership skills. I have gained experience teaching in British and American international schools in the UAE. My skills are ideal for the position you are offering, as I possess a good knowledge of both international curricula (IGCSE, GCSE, A-Level) and the Ministry of Education syllabus. Over the past four years, my students have achieved impressive grades, with most achieving A+ to C at A-Level and 6 to 9 at IGCSE and GCSE. In addition to teaching, I have also mentored Emirati pupils, monitored their behavior and academic progress, and organized extracurricular activities such as table tennis and Arabic clubs for students needing extra help. I have also organized a program to plant flowers.
