About Samya Ziad

My name is Samya and i am a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mother. On the professional level, after graduating from EDHEC Business School in France, I relocated to London to pursue a Graduate Program at BNP Paribas. During my time there, I rotated through several teams, focusing primarily on Financial Markets, including Repo Rates & Credit Trading and Global Markets Hedging Solutions. Since moving to the UAE in December 2019, I have been with Intesa Sanpaolo - Dubai Branch, working on the Coverage Desk. My role involves managing the origination and execution of a wide range of transactions across the region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, and parts of Africa. My work spans various products such as Structured Finance, Structured Export Finance, M&A, DCM, ECM and Trade Finance. I believe in putting in the effort, acknowledging my errors, fulfilling my responsibilities, and the significance of giving back to others.
