I am interested in digital content and media, observing 'viral' trends in visual media and the influences they have on people and culture. I am always keen on cultivating and harnessing my creative, analytical and communication skills collected over a year of work experience; studies; and knowledge of contemporary media, digital trends and social media to create relevant, engaging, useful content.I am looking for roles that require content writing, web content creation and management, social media handling, content editing and curation. I am also interested in media creation and marketing. My other skills include content writing, writing analytical articles, copyediting and proofreading. I am also moderately proficient in handling social media. I have a background in ed-tech, editing, and working in literature festivals. I have worked as a curriculum development (English) manager at LEAD School. My chief responsibilities lay in creating and enhancing educational resources for students, briefs for storyboards, and day plans and resources for teachers. Previously to this, I have worked as an English SME at Classklap Pvt. Ltd. in Pune. My key responsibilities were to work with programs to develop content for primary school assessments, with a sharp understanding of our user interface, content age-appropriateness and the varied needs of our client schools.During my internship at BEE Books, a trade publisher, I have worked as a project coordinator during Kolkata Literature Festival (2018) for Bridges Beyond Boundaries, a project between Creative Scotland and British Council UK/IN. My responsibilities were to coordinate communication and logistics for four authors and literary agents for panel discussions and ancillary events. In 2019 I worked as international project coordinator for BEE Books and aided in two book launches and panel events.Since 2018, I have worked as a copy-editor and proofreader. I have also successfully completed the Post-Graduate Certificate in Editing and Publishing offered by the School of Cultural Texts and Records, Jadavpur University, in April, 2019.
