My interest in the field of Molecular Virology is focused on understanding the interaction of viral proteins with host factors. Molecular approaches to understand how virus interacts with particular host factor can help in identifying therapeutic approaches which can be undertaken. I have worked on both Chikungunya and SARS-COV-2 viruses unravelling some of the viral proteins that interact with host factors contributing to their pathogenesis.
