I am the group leader of a computational science team at the University of Delaware, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. The team is comprised of a mix of graduate students (Ph.D. level) and Post-Doctoral Scholars. I am seeking highly motivated, highly creative, aggressive, initiative-taking individuals with strong programming skills in modern object oriented programming languages. Competence in mathematics and physics is a strong plus. Individuals who are not afraid to take on big risks and explore creative, novel, and challenging ideas, approaches, and topics are highly desirable. Being able to think 'outside the box' is highly valued.**Projects in my group encompass molecular simulations, data analysis, machine learning applications, algorithm development, and applications in a broad spectrum of areas including biophysics, chemical engineering, interfacial problems, solvation, protein interactions, bilayer physics, finance, stochastic processes.** Students seeking Ph.D. positions and post-docs meeting the above criteria are highly encouraged to apply.** I am also a Certified Personal Trainer. My certification is through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). I specialize in working with middle-age to older individuals interested in body transformations through traditional and functional resistance training coupled with metabolic exercise programming based on my knowledge of biochemistry and endocrinology.
