About Sandeep Sadanandan

Twenty years of turning "that's impossible" into "shipped to production."I'm a hands-on technical leader who builds and scales products end-to-end—from architecture sketches on whiteboards to CI/CD pipelines humming in AWS. My sweet spot: complex, regulated domains where getting it wrong isn't an option:→ Deep technical fluency: Python, TypeScript, Go, C++ — I write code, not just slides → Cloud & DevOps: AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure that scales → AI/LLM Integration: Embeddings, RAG systems, OpenAI/Claude APIs — practical GenAI, not just buzzwords → Rare domain expertise: German accounting standards (HGB), tax compliance (ERiC/ELSTER), IFRS reporting → Team building: Grown teams from zero, mentored engineers, established engineering cultures :• Built an AI-powered Chart of Accounts mapper using LLMs and embeddings • Architected enterprise tax platforms processing funds with ERiC/ELSTER integration • Led lending platform development as interim CTO — mobile app to admin portal to backendI have a PhD from TU Munich (yes, I counted points on hyperelliptic curves), and I get excited about a well-designed API or an elegant algorithm.Currently open to: Challenges where I can combine architecture, AI, and team building. Particularly interested in AI-powered products, or anything involving complex systems that need to actually work.Let's talk: sandeep@kotaico.de
