About Sander Aernouts

When I was growing up, my father used to say,"What his eyes see, his hands will tear apart"​. I always opened up remote controls and other devices around our house to see how they work. I was, and still am, a curious lad, and later on, my curiosity moved towards computers and software development. Today, I still love to know what makes the world tick, but I put down the screwdriver and leave the remote controls alone (most of the time). I started as a software engineer and soon stepped into the world of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps. Later, I circled back to software engineering and currently work as a managed service engineer. I love the broad insights this gives me into all the disciplines involved in software engineering and the daily challenges teams encounter. I get great satisfaction from creating something, solving difficult problems, and learning new things.
