A Chartered Accountant with specialised exposure in Direct Taxation over 7.5 years (including Articleship). Worked as a Manager of the Direct Tax team with Brahmayya, Bengaluru for last 2.5 years and led the team towards solution driven approach and continuous feed in improvising the thought processes. In my role as a Manager, I focus on leading my team towards meeting the pre-set timely deliverables as the word "tax" comes with hang-tough deadlines. During this process, my responsibility calls for not to compromise on quality as it is a supreme tool to avoid any protracted litigations. I got to take charge of all facets of tax deadlines during my tenure with Brahmayya, ranging from review of Submission to be made with CIT(Appeals), National Faceless Assessment Center to review of complex Income Tax return filing of Corporates, Tax Audit report review and Transfer pricing documentation. Worked as a Assistant Manager of the Direct Tax team, Bengaluru for 2 years post qualification. During this tenure, I could lay my hands on providing client-specific solutions to complex tax issues and opinions on interpretation of different provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961, DTAA of various countries. Completed 3 years of articleship from Brahmayya & Co, Chartered Accountants, Bangalore with a specialised exposure in Direct Taxation. During Articleship, I have handled Assessments and Appeal proceedings at Assessing Officer and CIT(Appeals) level. Specialised in preparing the response and submission to the various proceedings under the Income Tax Act, 1961. Performed Tax Audits of various entities in difference sectors.
