I am a Commander in Air Transport with 24 years experience on types DC-9, A320 and CL-65. During this time, I also gathered skills, knowledge and experience as an Instructor, Manager and Crew Resource Management Trainer. As a Pilot (Co-pilot or Captain): • Types: DC-9, A320, CL 65 (CRJ200, CRJ700/900) • Types of operation: o majority of major European hubs o smaller airports (Balkan area, Greek Islands) o Northern Africa • Due to nature (terrain, weather, procedures) of Adria Airways base LJU, a lot of experience in: o Actual CAT II and ops o Circle to land o Visual app It all starts with the discipline and ends with proper decisions which enable you to always be proactive and have as much as possible options. In between there is a CRM and TEM. As a Nominated Postholder Crew Training and HT ATO Brief scope of the managerial activities: • NPCT in Adria Airways, IATA and Star Alliance Member • Head of Training • Management of all training maters • Development of Manuals • Design of training programmes • IOSA audits • CARA (LH group) Achieved to increase the standardization of training activities, especially the LIFUS training program for FO and Commanders. Aa an auditee successfully involved in CAA, IOSA audits and contributed in receiving CARA “long term and unlimited” status for ACMI LH group. As an Instructor and Examiner: • Performed all types of training; Ground, Simulator and Line (LIFUS) • Performed training for FO’s, Commanders and Instructors We train that a pilot will have enough skills and knowledge to successfully resolve a normal, abnormal or emergency situation in the air. Passing a proficiency check is just one step in achieving the goal. As a Crew Resource Management Trainer: • Designed and delivered tailored annual combined recurrent CRM training It is unbelievable on how many occasions you discover, that a group of people have different or even completely opposite perception or understanding of a matter which you take for granted.
