About Sandile Ngema

With over 10 years of experience in broadcast engineering, my core competencies include team leadership, video+audio technology, network engineering and television signal work flows. Currently at SuperSport, my mission is to ensure operational excellence in outside broadcast (OB). I am committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, aligning my efforts with the organization's values. My expertise in managing and facilitating technical operations brings a diverse perspective and enhances team capabilities. As a Unit Engineer at SuperSport since April 2021 and previously as a Broadcast Engineer, I've led OB unit operations in the absence of the Unit Technical Manager in various productions, demonstrating my proficiency in team leadership. My responsibilities encompass creating maintenance schedules, developing technicians, facilitating equipment repairs, and compiling production reports. These roles have honed my skills in technical support, and OB unit management, contributing significantly to the success of live and recorded productions.
