About Sandra Anderstedt

When I got my first job as a communications professional, I barely knew what the role actually involved.I had theory and critical thinking from the university. But what you actually do on the job? That was learning by doing. Constantly. It took several years before I felt confident in the role. Now, 18 years later, I want to give others what I was missing: practical learnings, real examples and tips that actually work in everyday life.I write about two things here on LinkedIn:→ Business-driven communication – how to build trust, show value and become part of the business (not just support to it).→ Personal efficiency – how to get more done, stay on top of things and keep your balance (even when you are juggling a lot at once).I also sprinkle in some insights on manufacturing, since that is what I do at work.In my day job, I lead Marketing and Communication for Intelligent Manufacturing at Sandvik. I’m part of the leadership team, build teams and drive strategic initiatives in a global organization.I also run my newsletter, The Comms Plan.Subscribe if you want insights from someone who’s been where you are now – and figured out what matters.
