In my current position, I educate clients on health prevention and screenings which are needed throughout their lives. I facilitate smoking cessation classes for communities, and also educate children and youth in the schools on tobacco health concerns by doing a tobacco presentation "Tar Wars", which is a tobacco-free education program for children from the American Academy of Family Physicians. I have coordinated, scheduled, and participated in community Health/Wellness Fairs. I also do presentations on tobacco health concerns in the schools. Also I have coordinated and scheduled several events. I also serve on the Board of Directors with Chattooga County Family Connection, and a member with several Family Connection groups. I also serve on the GTUPP Committee, Tobacco Youth Truth Initiative and also on the Sub-Committee with Georgia Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan, and I also participate in community events as well.
