I am Licensed Practical Nurse and an established and experienced Case Management professional with over 29 years of practical experience in Utilization Review and Quality Management in acute care, long-term care, and home care settings, including monitoring care for Workers Compensation, Short Term Disability, Mariner’s patients and Discharge planning. With the demonstrated ability to plan and organize work for timely completion and positive outcome, I possesses exceptional oral and written communication skills and am comfortable building relationships with persons in all levels and facets of the health care industry. I am highly experienced at conducting research, analyzing situations, exploring alternatives, establishing priorities, researching conclusions and providing accurate data in the areas of health care claims review and research, case management, utilization review, settlements and controlling/negotiating health care costs. My professional goal is to continue my passion for patient care and utilize my strengths and skills in leadership, analysis, research and continuous improvement in ways that promote growth and wellness within an organization and the clients it serves.
