Member services: As the cornerstone of our association, enhanced communication channels, organized events, and addressed member inquiries to strengthen our community. Certification and Maintenance of Certification Certification: Work with the PA Certification Council of Canada and it sub-committees. Central to my role has been ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Maintain strong relationships with the Canadian PA programs. Create policies and procedures that uphold the integrity and rigor of our certification process, ensuring transparency and fairness for all applicants. Coordinate accommodation requests to ensure accessibility and equity in the certification process, Collaborate closely with psychometricians, I have overseen the development and refinement of our exam processes, guaranteeing that assessments accurately reflect the competencies required for the PA profession. Maintenance of certification: Implement streamlined procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with evolving standards and regulations. Oversee and validate continuing professional development (CPD) activities, enabling certified PAs to continually enhance their skills and knowledge. Continuing Professional Development: Review and approve requests for CPD credit hours for PA unique learning events, With the CPD Committee, evaluate content to ensure relevance and educational value.
