About Sandra Brophy
Hard-working, diligent and conscientious Audiologist trained in assessment, diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of hearing loss in adult and paediatric services, tinnitus and balance management in adult services. M.Sc in Audiology completed in September 2020 obtaining all required core competencies and minimum of hours clinical placement experience. I have previously successfully completed my Degree in Irish Sign Language teaching from the Centre for Deaf Studies, Trinity College Dublin, in June 2015. My four years in the Centre of Deaf Studies has allowed me to become fluent in Irish Sign Language, a skill which has been proven to be a great asset. I taught students aiming to achieve their GAISCE award, Medical students in UCD and have worked closely with the Department of Education Home Tuition Scheme teaching parents and children who are Deaf or Hard of hearing. In 2018 I finished working in AIB full-time and teaching Irish Sign Language part-time to pursue my goal of becoming an Audiologist.
