My mother lived with Frontotemporal dementia for a decade. I assisted in her care and gained great insight and appreciation of the multifaceted approach needed to be an effective and compassionate care partner. As I coordinated medical care for my mother and managed her legal and financial affairs, I also found creative ways to bring joy and happiness to her life.
