About Sandra Cornell

As a Research Planning & Operations Manager at Saint Louis University (SLU), I oversee many of the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of the School of Medicine's research activities. With more than 30 years of experience in the field of biomedical research, I have developed strong skills in data analysis, biochemistry, and molecular biology, as well as a deep understanding of the research process and its challenges. I hold a Master of Health Administration (MHA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from SLU, which equip me with the knowledge and tools to manage complex projects, budgets, and contracts, and to foster collaboration and communication among diverse stakeholders. My mission is to support the advancement of scientific discovery and innovation at SLU and to contribute to the improvement of health and well-being in the community. I value teamwork, integrity, and excellence, and I strive to create a positive and productive work environment for the researchers and staff.
