About Sandra Degrassi

Dr. Sandra DeGrassi received her BBA in Finance from The University of Texas-Austin, and her PhD in Management from Texas A&M University in College Station. Her teaching and research interests focus on Human Resource Management topics including recruitment, selection, incivility, teams, and management education. She has been published in top journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Business Ethics, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion: An international journal, the Journal of Management Education, and the Journal of Organizational Behavior. Her work experience includes working as a career advisor, accountant, real estate professional and investor, department chair, and small business owner. These experiences have helped her gain experience recruiting, selecting, training, mentoring, terminating, and managing employee performance. She currently teaches Human Resource Management courses and serves as the SHRM student chapter faculty advisor at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
