About Sandra Geange

I have spent over 20 years in executive leadership roles with iconic New Zealand brands including The Comfort Group, Goodman Fielder, George Weston Foods, Mitre 10 (NZ) Ltd and Telecom (now Spark). Specialising in international marketing strategy, digital transformation and global expansion, I have led multi-million dollar campaigns and initiatives that have fostered innovation, disrupted markets and embedded new services, products and technologies. I am currently the Chair the Problem Gambling Foundation, overseeing strategy and governance to help minimise the harm caused by problem gambling in New Zealand. I am also a long-time Board Member with the APAC Advisory Board – CMO Council, supporting the network's development across the Asia-Pacific region and providing strategic guidance on new areas of discussion and research. My broad industry experience spans consumer durables, retail and FMCG businesses both locally and internationally and I have extensive achievements driving innovation, disrupting markets and bringing new services, products and technologies to market. Across all of my roles I have embedded cultures where innovation, drive, engagement and performance is celebrated and teams truly embrace the vision, values and goals of the organisation that they work for. My focus is on growing New Zealand business through governance excellence in today’s complex and dynamic environment. I bring strategic drive and high ethical standards to the board table as well as supporting a high-performance, collaborative board culture. I have extensive experience across risk management and compliance; coupled with a passion for innovation, this results in the ability to lead and drive change that is transformational, while ensuring the organisation's integrity is protected.
