About Sandra Gobran

Sandra is a passionate civil servant and humanitarian worker, she holds a BA degree in Public Relations and Integrated Marketing, she is currently a project officer - case management focusing on adjudication and USCIS support as part of USRAP, she was preciously working within the counter smuggling of migrants and trafficking in persons team at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) mission to Egypt. Over the past 15 years She has worked for several international companies and organizations, honing her skills in communications and public relations, project management, protection, and migration issues. She started her career while studying, from working for Lufthansa airlines to joining the Embassy of Canada to Egypt, she later worked for the US refugee admission programme at IOM in Egypt and Jordan. She then moved to Alexandria, where she managed a project focusing on Migrants’ assistance, Sandra continues to support migrants through her current job with IOM Egypt. Sandra volunteers in different charities, she is an active scout leader and a youth counselor.
