Sandra Hook (GAICD) is an experienced Chair and board director with a Non-Executive career spanning diverse sectors including Communications: IT, Technology & Digital; Health Tech; Higher Education: Tourism, Leisure & Retail; Urban renewal; Agri-business; Government; Research and Policy. She brings 25 years of senior leadership and operational experience gained in roles including Managing Director, CEO, COO, Marketing Director and Publisher for some of Australia’s largest media organisations including News Limited, Foxtel, Federal Publishing and Murdoch Media. Sandra’s Non-Executive experience spans Listed, Private and Government boards and she is currently a director of IVE Group (ASX: IGL), MedAdvisor (ASX:MDR), NextEd Group (ASX: NXD), and Fight Food Waste Co-operative Research Corporation. Her previous NED experience includes RXP Technology (ASX:RXP), The Sydney Fish Market and as a former Trustee of the Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust; and Sydney Harbour Foundation Ltd. Sandra brings extensive commercial experience having built high performance teams in sales, marketing and content creation with a particular emphasis on customer-centred growth, technology, digital and organisation transformation. She has a track record in developing new products and services, delivering brand and portfolio strategies and market share growth. With a strong focus on stakeholder management, Sandra has frequently been appointed for her experience in communications, change management and stakeholder engagement strategies and has worked at the nexus of Government, community, stakeholder and investor groups across Federal, State and Local levels.
