Sandra Millor counsels domestic and international businesses at all stages of growth, from start-ups to Fortune 500s, on complex business disputes. A nationally recognized commercial litigation attorney, she has more than 15 years of experience in Am Law 200 firms representing clients in commercial matters, litigation, and arbitrations. As a partner in the Global Commercial Disputes practice in Am Law 50 firm Reed Smith, Sandra manages all aspects of high-stakes and high-value business disputes venued in federal and state courts. Prior to joining Reed Smith, Sandra represented clients in complex, cross-border disputes as a litigation partner at Akerman LLP. Sandra represents clients across industries, including financial services/banking, technology, digital assets, real estate, retail, and manufacturing, in an array of business disputes—such as breach of contract, unfair competition, fraud, class actions, securities, discrimination, and employment—and has handled all facets of cases, from pleadings and discovery through trial, appeal, and enforcement. Through her broad experience, she has developed a holistic, business-focused approach to risk mitigation and management, with a reputation among clients for proactive evaluation of impact on business. She pulls from her historical knowledge of litigation and settlement trends to: develop pragmatic solutions; negotiate favorable settlements that reduce or avoid risky, lengthy, and/or costly lawsuits; and partner with in-house counsel and executives to formulate business-aligned legal strategies. Sandra has been frequently recognized for her extensive skill and experience representing domestic and multinational clients in litigation and arbitration. Most recently, she was named Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation in 2024, and Latin Lawyer 250 “Prominent Practitioner” in the Latin American region for Arbitration and Litigation (2022-2024).She brings with her extensive leadership experience, having managed and mentored legal teams, andis an active member of the legal community, presenting at bar association events and client seminars. Additionally, she has engaged in significant pro bono work over the course of her career, representing immigrant children and women seeking asylum and critical home health services. Outside of her practice, she participates in Girl Scouts with her daughters.Sandra graduated from Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
