I have just completed a long term contract at Blind Veterans UK and have an ongoing contract with Brooke. My expertise is in securing relationships with relevant celebrities that are long lasting and add value to all areas of the charities’ work including fundraising, advocacy and media. I can create practical and creative strategies for engaging celebrity support to add value to short, medium and long term plans. I can implement the strategy or provide training and support for existing staff members. I have 19 years experience having worked with many clients including ChildLine, Teenage Cancer Trust, Prostate Cancer UK, The Stroke Association, Parkinsons UK, Beating Bowel Cancer, Anthony Nolan, Stonewall, Blind Veterans UK, BloodWise, BookTrust, Arthritis Research and World Society for the Protection of Animals. I provide a bespoke service depending on specific requirements and budget. I have just completed a mentoring contract with BloodWise - providing support and advice to the media officer who’s responsive for the celebrity function at Charity. Alongside helping to create innovative ideas to add value to PR and fundraising campaigns. Alongside a similar, but shorter contract for ReThink mental health charity After working on various radio days with charity clients I arranged a successful bespoke ‘no frills’ radio day for ABF Solders Charity and, along with my business partner Dianne Stradling, hold one hour talks/workshops - giving advice and insight on the best way to harness celebrity and VIP support.
