In my current role, we work on the development of reagents used in flow cytomtery for biomedical assays. My PhD research was focused on determining the factors that affect drug dissolution from zeolites hosts in order to use these porous materials for controlled release drug delivery systems. This work aims to enhance the effect of the drug whilst reducing possible side effects and improving patient compliance. I am a HCPC registered biomedical scientist with ten years experience in various UKAS and INAB accredited Immunology and Biochemistry laboratories in Ireland and the UK. I have also worked in clinical trial units with GSK in Australia. Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Academy of Medical Laboratory Science (AMLS), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS).
